Me la paso muy bien leyendo cualquier libro de Rick Riordan, pero este no me termina de convencer.

I just love Apollo-s perspective. I was laughing out loud on like every other page. I can-t say that I-m a big fan of Meg, she-s a bit annoying and rude but I-m kinda hoping that she gets better throughout the series. I loved all the side characters that were introduced in this book, especially Emmie and Josephine! I also thought Calypso and Leo were really cute and their relationship felt pretty realistic. I really liked this one in the series because we got to find out a litt about Apollo. It turns out that being a god isn-t as easy as it looks and that sometimes they-re extremely hands off because it protects them from hurting. Yes, there are times where he can be extremely obnoxious, but as we delve deeper into the reasons why, he is definitely growing on me. Plus, there were a ton of funny moments throughout the story, some action, and really cool mythology. I really liked this one in the series because we got to find out a litt about Apollo. I-m starting to get back into the rhythm of these books and as a result, I-m loving a. Apollo is his normal obnoxious self, but he-s starting to grow on me. But really, it-s the other characters that make it so much fun, especially when they metaphorically (or literally) roll their eyes at him. But it-s ev that as much as he thinks the world revolves around him when he finds out it doesn-t, he pouts but then he does what she should do anyway. I mean, considering that the wo I-m starting to get back into the rhythm of these books and as a result, I-m loving a. Apollo is his normal obnoxious self, but he-s starting to grow on me. I mean, considering that the world actually doesn-t revolve around him, he-s pretty good-natured about the whole thing. You also get the feeling that when he threatens to destroy someone when he gets his god powers back he-s not really going to end up bothering. I-m loving the character development that is happening with Apollo and I love that his awesome friends are teaching him with infinite patience. I love that Riordan has him interact with people from his past, especially those that he wronged (like Calypso) and he-s being reminded of what he did that wasn-t all that cool and that it-s slowly changing him and teaching him that perhaps he could have done things differently. Meg? I-m honestly liking her. I mean she comes off as an ill-mannered brat, but when you consider her past, it totally makes sense. And regardless of how messed up, she has been, you can tell from her actions that the things she-s done for her stepfather have been completely through fear and that her time with Apollo and the gang will also help heal her and teach her a better way. I absolutely loved Emmie and Jo and know they were exactly the right people that Apollo, Leo, and Calypso had to meet and learn from (and do things for). I can-t wait to continue with this series!

"It-s not how long you live that matters. It-s what you live for."- Josephine. The Dark Prophecy continues the onerous journey of the god formerly known as Apollo (lol) with consistent wit, humour and hidden gems of lessons and wisdom.Apollo-s personality and promiscuity is brought out in a humorously apt and consequential manner (btw...slut-shaming, regardless of gender, is so vapid. Like it-s inane to pick a favourite ice-cream flavour without sampling a bunch of them, lol). Especially, when th "It-s not how long you live that matters.
