I strongly believe that a TOT training course with whichever number of hours is not enough to create a real trainer, it is just the start in which fresh trainers get the fundamental knowledge and skills to start their career as trainers. Just like many things in life, training is really misunderstood and a lot of people still think that being able to speak to the public is fair enough for a person to be a trainer. Well, this is totally not correct, because public speaking and presentation skills are only part of training.On the other hand, some other people think that training is very systematic and scientific, which is not true as well. A questionnaire I have recently made about if training is a science or an art, and the result was most of the people who answered the questionnaire said that training is more an art than a science.
